How the estimate works
We work it out the same way the bill does.
Each call that’s picked up is rounded up to whole 10-second blocks, then up to the paisa.

billed seconds = ceil(call seconds ÷ 10) × 10, at least 10
cost per call = billed seconds × rate per minute ÷ 60, rounded up to the paisa

Worked example
We priced 1,00,000 calls a month, 35% picked up, 80 seconds each.
The pick-up rate and call length come from the example in our billing docs, at 1,00,000 calls a month.

- 80 s × ₹5 ÷ 60 = ₹6.67 a call × 35,000 = ₹2,33,450, no minimum
T1 is the cheapest tier at this volume. At 80-second calls, T1 costs less than T3 from 25,001 connected calls a month, and T3 costs less than T5 from 7,497. The 65,000 calls nobody picked up cost nothing.

Questions people ask about the bill.
Do I pay for calls nobody picks up?
No. Calls that ring out, are busy, fail to connect or that you cancel are free. A voicemail is billed like any other call, because the line did connect.
Why are calls billed in 10-second blocks?
We round each call up to the next 10 seconds, and every call is at least one block, so a 35-second call bills as 40 seconds. One block costs a sixth of the minute rate, and each call is rounded up to the paisa.
What if we use less than the T3 or T1 minimum?
You still pay the minimum. It goes into your wallet upfront, and what you spend on calls counts towards it. At month end, any gap is settled from the wallet. Promotional credit doesn’t count, extra top-ups carry forward, and an agreement you already have with us keeps its terms.
Is the phone line included?
On T5 and T3, yes, and so are call insights. On T1 both are extras: our phone line at ₹0.30 a minute and insights at ₹0.20 a minute. Calls on your own telco, WhatsApp or the browser carry no phone charge from us.
Do these prices include GST?
No. All prices exclude GST.
How exact is the estimate?
Close. It uses our price list and the same rounding as the bill, but treats every call as the average length. Real calls vary, so the bill moves a little. The charge on each call and your wallet ledger show what you actually pay.
